-
How do I add an event?
Right now, email me at vance@groovingrind.com. A real submission form is coming.
-
Can I add a ride to my own calendar?
Hell yes. Hit "Add to calendar" on any event page and it drops a standard .ics into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook — whatever you run. Saving events right here on the site is coming soon.
-
Do you track me or run ads?
We don't run ads yet. When we do, it'll be an in-house tool that never connects to ad networks. We're building our own platform — one that respects the community: both you, and the advertisers who aren't corpo pukes.
-
How will Groovin' Grind make money?
Eventually through organizer tools, featured listings, and honest local sponsorships — value for the people who already profit from great rides. Riders are never the product, and paid placement will always be additive and clearly labeled.
-
Do you use AI?
Yup. And so do you. I use AI so much that I'm typing this into a chat bot right now, and that bot will put it where you can find it. Yes, I think AI is an existential threat for many reasons. But no more of a threat than any other medium we use to isolate ourselves. So I'm using it to build community.
-
Can I copy your content?
Why not? I copied it from somebody else. How about we agree to this: you can copy anything on this site, so long as whatever you make that includes what you copied is also given freely for anybody else to copy. Hmmm, Intellectual Property much?

I found a mistake in an event. What do I do?
Email me at vance@groovingrind.com, or use the contact page.

Why Groovin' Grind?
You already know. You know that feelin' when the wheel finds the ground like a needle in a record groove. And you ride that rhythm out. You know the grind it took to get there. Ya, I told you ya knew.
-
What was your first bike?
It was something bought from Kmart that very much resembled a BMX bike. It was probably responsible for me racing BMX a few bikes later. That was the last time I ever won a bike race. Now I'm sad. I'm a loser.
