The reaper waits for no one.\n\nThe route hammers out to Tijeras and back along Central/old Route 66 — that long\, gradual grind up toward the Sandia foothills that looks innocent on a map and lies to your face. You can catch the group as they blow past Believers Center (first megachurch on the right\, about a third of a mile east of Tramway) right around 12:05 PM.
